W&S have been appointed as the Demolition Contractor. Full planning permission was approved (Ref: 17/00493/FLEA) in 2017, for demolition and site clearance works of all buildings and structures on the site down to slab level, with the exception of the boundary fencing, bore-well pump-houses, substations, the gatehouse and two office buildings situated in the middle of the site. These works have started and are scheduled to complete by the end of 2018.

As noted above, at present KPMG intend to retain the two office buildings within the centre of the site primarily as this provides the power to the security building in Dry End Road, but this will be subject to further review during the sales process.

Once the demolition is completed an independent report will be provided by Watts, which will certify and record the work that has been undertaken to the agreed specification.
